Across 14 days, a crew works 2 days, rests 2, works 3, rests 2, works 2, then rests 3. With 12-hour shifts that produces one 36-hour week and one 48-hour week. Four crews offset across fixed day and night assignments provide continuous coverage.

How to use this template

1. Choose a date when you know which crew is working; this anchors the repeating cycle.
2. Select Crew A, B, C, or D and confirm whether it matches the day or night assignment.
3. Generate at least two months so holidays, leave, and long weekends are visible.
4. Print or save the result as PDF, then add a version date before sharing it with the team.

Before you publish the calendar

Check the complete cycle rather than a single calendar week. Confirm the crew reference date against a roster already in use, then review role coverage, planned leave, training, and overtime. Keep one dated master copy so an approved swap does not create competing versions.
