Each crew has 5 work days and 2 off days per cycle. Scheduled hours are 40 ÷ 7 × 7 = 40 hours per week on average. This cycle average is not an individual workweek total or a payroll calculation.

A fixed weekly schedule works because every role knows what to expect on a given weekday. Protect that clarity by documenting any routine exception: a different holiday opening time, a rotating weekend duty, or a recurring training session. If exceptions become frequent, show them separately rather than making the underlying Monday-to-Friday pattern impossible to recognise.

Check the jobs that depend on a named person, such as opening, closing, supervision, or a specialist task. The same weekday pattern can conceal a coverage risk when the one person with a needed responsibility is away. Record the backup before publishing the week.

Give the roster a version date and keep a single editable source. A fixed schedule is simple enough that people may rely on memory, which makes an unannounced change especially easy to miss. Publish approved changes through the same channel every time.
